ILIMANATOR SCHOLARSHIP
The Ilimanator Scholarship was initiated by Ilima-Lei to empower Native Hawaiian and Native American girls, ages 12-19, by providing access to world-class indigenous education and travel opportunities. Understanding the unique challenges these girls face—from abuse and trafficking to generational trauma and health disparities—Ilima is committed to giving them a fighting chance through mentorship and life-changing experiences. The Ilimanator Scholarship supports participation in leadership, wellness, and cultural programs, helping recipients build resilience and achieve their goals. Giving native girls a fighting chance to succeed.

RISE WARRIOR QUEENS, IT’S TIME.
WAHINE TOA RETREAT
Each year, Nā Wahine Toa hosts an intergenerational and intercultural retreat for Native girls and women from around the world. This program is meant to empower women and focuses on the four pillars of the foundation where attendees intentionally practice self-defense, self-love, self-preservation and the protection of all sacred spaces including their divine feminine essence. In addition to caring for ourselves and one another, the team at Nā Wahine Toa prides itself in consciously supporting all wahine-owned and native-owned businesses, entrepreneurs and practitioners. Nā Wahine Toa has so far been able to host three successful all-women's retreats on 'Oahu island and Hawai'i island with 15 of the participants being able to attend on a full Ilimanator Scholarship. SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOPS
This foundation is committed to empowering women and children through self-defense workshops taught by Ilima-Lei and other professional fighters. Survival is a reality for many indigenous women and girls and keiki, and Nā Wahine Toa is here to equip them with the tools and confidence they need to fight back and reclaim their strength. We have held workshops for native communities across the pae 'āina (Hawaiian Islands) Turtle Island, Canada and Jamaica, and hope to continue expanding our reach to at-risk populations across the country. Please reach out to learn more about how you can hold a workshop in your community.
